in 2023 elvin ross approached jason lanier and asked him to partner up with him with the goal of capturing the beauty of six flags new orleans, jazzland. He also asked him to archive the park for historical purposes as he prepares to reimagine the space into a sprawling new movie studio and art space.
elvin is an emmy award winning composer who’s worked at the top level of the movie industry and is now bringing that experience and vision to new orleans. he’s also launched a brand new school for film and television partnering up with dillard university in new orleans with classes beginning in november 2024.
