Jason Lanier Blog
Welcome to the blog for jason lanier, world traveled award winning photographer.

This belongs in a #travelbrochure for #Aruba. This was taken at my wedding for Jose and Lisa earlier this month. I had such a great time and I love how relaxing this picture makes me feel....:)

Getting the #wedding #detail shots. In #weddingphotography it's so important to take the time to get the detail shots right. This image is from my wedding in Aruba where the #fatherofthebride had #cufflinks made for the occasion...:) #jasonlanierphotography

Choose your own hair cut day is today! Well at least it is for my boys. It's summer time so they get to choose what's on top, as long as the sides are short (Per Dad). From left to right the length of the fauxhawk grows...:) love my boys! #greatclips #haircut #triplets

#Abandoned #worldwar2 #bunkers on Rye New Hampshire. Check this place out. ..it's crazy! You can watch my video by going to www.youtube.com/jasonlanierpros. #outcastamerica #creepy #abandoned #picoftheday

I have black hair! We are recreating movie posters for my clients to display at their wedding. After shooting "The Bodyguard" we took the wig off my bride Latasha and put it on my head. I think I look like a homeless rockstar.

I'm gay, or at least that's what someone thought when I was taking this picture with my videography and mini me Jason. While doing a selfie with him here at the Griffith Observatory a couple walked up to me and asked if I wanted him to take a picture for us. I told him that Jason and I were getting married and celebrating here at the Observatory. He looked at his wife and then back at me and said, "Uh well, congratulations." I just smiled and said, "Thank you."

Straight out of a horror movie...does this not look like I'm approaching a place in the woods where I'm gonna eventually die? This is from production footage from my shoots at the #LetchworthVillageLunaticAsylum. I seriously can't wait to share the stuff from this place! #abandoned #photography

Using ambient lighting in Times Square- this production image was taken by Jim Belmont from my NY Workshop. We used the lights from the theater and I shot with my 105mm macro lens. We had such a great time. I can't wait to go back!!!

About to hit the big 40...pounds that is! My stomach is disappearing and I feel so much better than I ever have as a photographer. So many less aches and pains and my recovery time is so much faster. Photogs should care about their health and weight because it SIGNIFICANTLY impacts your ability to do your job. So go get in shape my friends!!! #weightloss #loseweight #health #fitness
